1 year on...

This time last year I was managing a new Members' restaurant in a famous museum. It was not what I wanted to do, I wanted to be at home with my 1 year old and not rushing around every morning trying to get 3 people dressed, fed and out the house by 7.30am, (without screaming!!) But like everything I do, I was doing it to my best and turned around a complete disaster to a functioning workplace.

But now doing what I REALLY want to do, and feel much happier, relaxed, and have job satisfaction+, (not without the anxiety of financial constraints obviously), and I really feel like I've been doing this all my life, it feels totally natural.  Although I spend more time on social media and marketing myself than I thought I had to/need to/want to! I am really lucky to be totally flexible with having the little one in nursery 2 days a week.
I've recently spent lots of time researching as well. Looking for this certain exercise or a stretch for my latest client with a shoulder impingement. Reading science papers on the affects of massage, getting engrossed in CBD (cannabidiol) and how this new oil really is helping people with chronic pain. Looking forward to my next course on pre and post natal Pilates.  Here's to the next year and hoping that I can turn my garage into a studio/therapy room. Fingers crossed!
